Bio

Finding a counsellor who is both professionally qualified and appreciates the role of faith, especially for Christians, can be challenging for individuals and couples alike. If you're seeking support, please don’t hesitate to reach out (link above) with any questions to see if I might be the right counsellor for you.

A bit about me:

  • I am a Catholic man, a husband, and a father to nine children.
  • I lecture sessionally in the Discipline of Counselling at the University of Notre Dame Australia, specialising in areas including grief and loss, childhood sexual abuse, anger management, anxiety, depression, personal and professional growth, and couple and family therapy.
  • I previously served as the Director of the Centre for Life, Marriage and Family within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Perth for over 18 years.
  • As a Level 4 practitioner with the Australian Counselling Association, I bring extensive experience and commitment to my counselling practice.

For Christian married couples, marriage is a lifelong commitment, a sacrament, and a vocation. It can be difficult to find a counsellor who genuinely understands and honours the dignity of this commitment. With many years of experience working with couples within this context, I am here to support you on your journey.
