Bio

Growing up near Washington state's alpine trails, I viewed the wilderness as my "therapy office." I encountered God most palpably with boots on my feet and mountains in view. Nature even played a role in starting my relationship with my husband, Seth. It was an off-trail hike that set our relationship in motion! We now are raising our first child, and we look forward to bringing her along on our adventures.

Though I can't bring you on a hike in a literal sense, I trek with men, women, and teens at life's peaks and valleys. I value joining the Holy Spirit in his work of comforting, healing, encouraging, guiding, and listening. Thank you for inviting me to share in your journey.

FAQs

Q: What is the cost of a single session?

A: A 50-minute individual session costs $65. Couple sessions (premarital or marital) cost $75 for 50 minutes. All sessions require out-of-pocket pay (no insurance). If you cannot afford my regular rate, contact me so we can discuss your needs.

Q: Do you diagnose all of your clients?

A: No. Since I do not bill insurance agencies, I can provide services without making a formal diagnosis.

Q: What makes faith-integrated counseling different from traditional mental health counseling?

A: Faith-integrated counseling draws upon resources that are personal to your worldview, such as prayer and scripture readings. It enhances and customizes existing modes of therapy.

Q: I am not a Christian. Can I access your services?

A: Yes! I work with clients from other faith backgrounds as well.

Q: Do you provide counseling for children?

A: At this time, I only provide counseling services for individuals ages 13 and above.

Q: Can I meet with you for an in-person session?

A: I exclusively provide telehealth services, meaning that I offer all sessions online. If you would prefer an in-person provider, I can help connect you with another therapist near you.
