Bio

Chloe Logan

As a trauma informed counselor, coach and clinical nutritionist, I am ready to walk beside my clients on the path to a more fulfilling and connected life in my practice, The Rooted Method Counselling.

Having had the privilege to work with hundreds of people in my role as a clinical nutritionist, I recognize the profound impact that exploring the roots of our story can have on our healing.

My practical knowledge started in the nutrition field, focused on healing the physical body by creating a more informed and deeper connection with how we fuel ourselves when hormonal imbalances and digestive dysfunction manifest.

After graduating from my initial diploma program and working in the field for years with clients I became fascinated with how our thoughts and life experiences show up within the body, creating digestive and hormonal adaptations. Working with tools like GI maps, Dutch tests and mineral analysis informed me of just how much of an impact stress creates on paper, let alone with symptomatology like PMS, autoimmune disorders, and “unexplainable” digestive dysfunction.

My one-on-one client experience, as well as walking through and getting support for my own personal struggles, led me to pursue my counseling diploma and transition my practice over to the exploration of the self and our beliefs surrounding how much space we allow ourselves occupy in the world.

My practice is strengths-based and person-centered, which means the most important tool in my toolbox is creating a non-judgemental space for you to feel validated in your shares. I am sex work-affirming and committed to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, ensuring that they feel seen, heard, and respected in their healing journey.

Services

My offerings include counselling services, coaching services and clinical nutrition assessments. Please note that modalities can not be combined.

Counselling:

Counseling is a place where you can be seen and heard in your experience, whatever that is, by an empathetic witness. Based on your individual goals you and your counselor will co-collaborate on an approach that supports your individual needs. That might look like learning how to communicate from an authentic place, developing a deeper connection with yourself, or understanding why problems are showing up for you and how to navigate those in a way that supports your emotional, physical, spiritual or mental wellness. Counseling is a place where you can show up as you are, without feeling the need to meet expectations. I offer online counselling to individuals needing support with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, eating disorders, attachment wounds, and trauma. I use a combination of modalities based on your needs such as parts work (IFS), somatic therapy, DBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and narrative therapy.

Coaching:

Coaching is a collaborative partnership that supports you to deepen self-awareness, enhance creative ability, foster personal mastery, and cultivate your full potential. As a coach I aim to ask timely and appropriate questions that foster and support greater self-awareness and inner resourcefulness, and assist in working through any personal roadblocks/obstacles (conscious or unconscious) that may arise for you with your goals. Coaching is a great option for those who are looking for more structure and accountability than counselling.

Nutritional Assessment:

As a clinical nutritionist your health and well being are my utmost priority. It's very important to me that you feel seen and heard during your consultation as I know how challenging it can be to navigate getting support for chronic health issues. Know that whatever you bring in whether it feels big, or small, is valid. Your consultation will consist of a personal health assessment of over 100 biomarkers, including, but not limited to, your medical history, family medical history, current symptoms, food preferences, supplements, medications, cycle history, life stressors, sleep, any diagnosis you wish to disclose and movement.

Using this information we will co create a wellness plan that focuses on targeted nutritional interventions, supplements suggestions, lifestyle modifications and is in line with your specific goals. My areas of specialty are chronic digestive issues such as SIBO and IBS, hormonal imbalances such as PCOS and painful PMS, overall lifestyle optimization for fertility and preparing for menopause.

Extended options for functional testing for hormonal imbalances, mineral imbalances, and gut imbalances are available upon consultation.
