Maybe you're seeking change and a sense of agency. Regardless of the challenges you're encountering, know that while change can be difficult and uncomfortable, you have the capacity for growth and change.

A little bit about me and my work: growing up as a Canadian-born Chinese has shaped my unique perspective on life, blending cultural influences and experiences. My perspective has further been enhanced by experiences of navigating life's uncertainties, my own healing journey, and my role as a mother to two young children. Using a holistic, nonjudgmental, and empathic approach, I strive to truly understand your emotions, struggles, and perspectives, allowing me to connect with you on a meaningful level. I will ask thoughtful questions and listen attentively, seeking to grasp the nuances of your experiences, and provide a space where you feel heard and validated.
My therapeutic practice is influenced by a diverse range of therapeutic approaches including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and sensorimotor psychotherapy. My focus in counselling is to help you build greater self-awareness, strengthen the mind-body connection, and make the desired changes in your life.
I hold a Master of Education degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counselors. I have over 10 years of combined educational training and experiences working in mental health. I have experience working with a diverse clientele presenting with a wide range of concerns including: depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, self-esteem, life transitions, and stress management.

Extended Health Care Plans
Many extended health benefit plans may provide complete or partial coverage for services with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Please check with your extended health benefits plan to see if your plan provides such coverage. Once payment for the sesison has been made, a receipt will be provided and you can then submit that receipt to your extended health benefits plan for reimbursement.
Cancellation Policy
48 hours notice for cancellations is required. When a client cancels without giving enough notice, it prevents another client from being seen. Therefore, missed appointments will be charged the full value of the session and appointments that are cancelled in less than 48 hours will be charged a fee of $60, unless in cases of emergencies.
If you are late for your appointment, the appointment will still need to end after 55 minutes from the start of the scheduled time. The full session rate will be collected as that session's time has been reserved for you. If you are running late, please contact me via email or text as soon as possible.
